Datecenter and Cabling Systems Business Unit
The DCS (Datacenter and Cabling Systems) Business Unit deals with the building
of complete machine rooms, building control systems, structured cabling and security
technology solutions. It possesses the professional skills of copper and optical
cabling, practice of several years, the qualifications of several manufacturers,
e.g. Brand-Rex, AMP, Reichle & De-Massai, as well as security technology and path design rights and membership in chamber
of engineers.
Communication Business Unit
The Network Communication Business Unit has been dealing with networks and active
network tools since the 1990s. In addition to the products of Cisco, Nortel Networks,
IBM Tivoli Netcool and other market leader manufacturers, the portfolio contains
several proprietary products. These proprietary solutions include VoiceCover,
a uniform messaging system, various XML applications running on IP telephone (these
help the layout of systems, matching the needs of customers in the development
of uniform communication infrastructure), and the NetDoc system, which provides
updated network documentation necessary for the professional performance of operating
tasks. Since 1997 SRI has been a partner of Cisco Gold and has several specializations
unique in the Hungarian market.
Security Solutions Business Unit
The Security Solutions Business Unit is prepared to offer state-of-the-art solutions
to the customers on the subject of network security, as well as complex security
systems. On the subject of network security, the portfolio includes Cisco and
heterogeneous safety solutions (firewalls,VPN, IDS, IPS, identity management,
dedicated hardware solutions); while complex systems include antivirus applications,
content filtering, host-based IPS, PKI systems, authentication management and
incident management. Regarding IAM (Identity & Access management) systems,
we are proud to have received several awards, thanks to our experiences unique
in the Hungarian market. The professionals responsible for security technology
hold qualifications from companies considered market leaders, from the software
publishers included in the portfolio (e.g. Check Point Certified Security Expert
Plus, Crossbeam XOS specialist, RSA Security Administrator, ISS Certified Specialist,
Cisco CCIE) as well as several internationally acknowledged exams (SANS, CISSP).
System Integration Business Unit
The System Integration Business Unit deals with software and hardware systems
and their integration, which includes high-level knowledge of the base infrastructure
systems, the application system, system management solutions, back-up systems,
software licensing solutions, Intel and Unix based servers, storage systems, complex
back-up solutions, blade systems and virtualization solutions (Vmware, Hyper-V).
The high level of knowledge amassed by the business unit is well demonstrated
by the fact that the professionals of the business unit hold official Microsoft
systems engineer (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer on Windows 2003), systems
administrator (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator on Windows 2003) and
special Microsoft (MCSE Messaging Specialist, Security specialist) titles - which
mean that they have comprehensive skills and knowledge about almost every product
of Microsoft; but several professionals working for the business unit also hold
HP ASE (Accredited System Engineer) branch VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
qualifications.
ERP-guidance
The ERP Business Unit has already been present for more than 10 years on the
Hungarian market of corporate IT and corporate management, providing a reliable
and comprehensive service and IT-security for its clients. The ERP Business Unit
can implement integrated system solutions of corporate IT, with special regard
to the introduction of the SAP-system, as well as it can operate, develop and
extend existing systems, integrate them with other applied systems. ERP also offers
system-support service that is the management of the problems occurring during
operation.
Business applications
Synergon’s experts are able to integrate the possibilities of teamwork-applications,
e-learning solutions and portal technologies into an integrated corporate knowledge
management toolkit in a way that is unique on the Hungarian market. The introduction
of several successful data warehouses with outstanding dimensions and complexity
and business intelligence (BI) is associated with Synergon.
Service Coordination Business Unit
The primary function and responsibility of the Service Coordination Business
Unit is to ensure service quality in the case of operation and operation support
contracts. For that purpose, in order to fulfill these functions, the business
unit develops and continuously enhances the processes and rules determining operation,
coordinates the activities of various professional business units and performs
functions of crisis management and escalation management.
Service Center Business Unit
The Service Center provides the primary access point for the customers to our
services. This includes the continuous provision of assistance by telephone, even
7x24, by which most of the faults that occur can be cleared remotely, by telephone
consulting or remote login. The Service Center is able to provide immediate assistance,
which significantly reduces the down time of users owing to faults, and this also
means the reduction of the resulting additional costs.
Outsource Business Unit
The Outsource Business unit performs its activities according to the ITIL industrial
standard, which has become a generally accepted standard by now, and provides
excellent service to our customers. The experienced staff of engineers operate
the processes defined by ITIL based on pre-defined and well-traceable processes
at daily level. By virtue of their types, supporting tasks can be divided up into
two large groups:

Those system operators and system engineers work in the Operating Services group
who operate as dedicated staff in the sites of the customers (on-site staff).
It is their responsibility to resolve any problems that cannot be sorted out remotely.
In addition to their professional skills and thorough knowledge of laptop and
desktop machines, they are also knowledgeable in IP-based networks, office technology
and communication tools and applications supporting infrastructure.

The primary functions of the Control Center include the resolution of every event
that is received from the Service Center and the well-built monitoring system.
Thanks to these capabilities, it provides 7x24, constant monitoring and prompt
troubleshooting solutions to the customers, furthermore, minimizes the likelihood
of the occurrence of unexpected events on the basis of proactive incident and
problem management. The most often used modality for assistance is the Remote
solution, which highly contributes to decreasing the down times occurring through
faults. The solutions we offer also include proactive problem management and
constant capacity and availability management. In addition to the basic elements
of infrastructure development - such as servers, team work, network, IT security
- their services also include the control of applications defined according to
the needs of the customer.
Project management
Synergon System Integrator applies project management to ensure the application
of knowledge, capabilities, tools and techniques, in order to accomplish the objectives
of the project.
The purpose of the application of project management is to organize the individual
activities, by predicting as many possible threats and problems as possible, in
a way that ensures the implementation of the project, despite all the difficulties
